Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Partner Labs, LLC d/b/a PartnerFit (“PartnerFit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website, use the PartnerFit platform or related services (collectively, the “Service”), communicate with us, or otherwise interact with us.
The Service is designed to help organizations discover, evaluate, and develop potential business partnerships. Although the Service is primarily intended for business users, we may collect personal information about users, business contacts, representatives of organizations, and other individuals.
This Privacy Policy also describes your privacy choices and rights under applicable data protection laws. Additional information for individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland is provided in the Sections titled “EEA and UK Users” and “Swiss Users” below.
This Privacy Policy applies when PartnerFit processes personal information for its own purposes, including operating and securing the Service, maintaining its business-information database, and providing partner-discovery and related features, as described in this Policy.
In some cases, PartnerFit acts as a service provider or processor and processes personal information only on behalf of a customer under a separate written agreement. In those cases, the customer’s privacy notice applies, and you should direct privacy requests to that customer.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information from you, your organization, other authorized users, publicly available sources, business-information providers, service providers, and automatically when you use the Service. The information we collect depends on how you interact with us and the features you use.
2.1. Account and Professional Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect your name, business email address, phone number, employer, job title, department, profile photo, professional-profile URL, account settings, user role, permissions, and authentication-related information. We collect this information directly from you, from your organization or an authorized administrator, and automatically through your use of the Service.
We use your business email address to authenticate your account through a one-time password (“OTP”).
2.2. Business and Partnership Information
We may collect information about your organization and its partnership objectives, including company profile information, business offerings, target markets, partnership needs, capabilities, partner-program information, and information about potential partners or business opportunities.
To the extent this information identifies or relates to an individual, such as a founder, executive, employee, partner-program contact, or other business representative, we treat it as personal information as required by applicable law.
2.3. Business Contact Information
The Service may display or process professional information about individuals associated with potential partner organizations. This information may include names, job titles, departments, employers, business email addresses, business phone numbers, professional-profile URLs, and publicly available professional information.
We may receive business-contact information from users, customers, publicly available sources, business-information and data-enrichment providers, and other sources that make such information available for our business-information or contact-data purposes.
We may also derive or infer business-contact information, such as likely email address, using publicly available information and common employer email-address formats. We may identify inferred information as unverified. If you believe that business-contact information about you is inaccurate, or if you would like to request that we suppress or remove it from the Service, you may submit a request as described in Section 8, “Your Rights.”
Users may also enter or maintain information about business contacts, including connection status, interaction notes, outreach history, and partnership-related communications. Individuals, including those who are not registered users and/or do not have an account, may submit requests concerning their personal information as described in Section 8, “Your Rights.”
2.4. Service Usage and Device Information
When you visit our website or use the Service, we may collect information about your use of the Service, including searches, search criteria, companies or contacts viewed or saved, match decisions, feature usage, pages viewed, and other interactions with the Service.
We may also collect technical information, including IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, referring URLs, date and time of access, cookies, local-storage identifiers, session identifiers, diagnostic information, and error logs. We use a session-replay tool that captures information about how users interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, navigation paths, and technical or error events. The tool may allow us to review recordings or reconstructions of portions of a user’s session. We use session recordings internally to investigate customer support requests, diagnose technical problems, and resolve bugs. Where required by applicable law, we obtain consent before enabling session replay or other non-essential technologies. You can turn session replay off at any time through Cookie Settings (see Section 6.6). We configure the tool to mask one-time passcodes and to exclude authentication credentials and session tokens from recordings. Payment card information is entered on our payment processor’s hosted checkout pages and is not captured by the tool.
2.5. Communications and Invitations
If you contact us, request information, subscribe to communications, participate in a survey, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your contact information and the content of your communications.
When you invite a colleague to join PartnerFit, we process the colleague’s business email address and any optional message you provide to send and administer the invitation.
2.6. Information from Other Sources
We may receive personal information from third parties, including your organization, other authorized users, publicly available sources, business-information and contact-data providers, referral sources, event partners, and service providers that support authentication, hosting, security, analytics, customer support, email delivery, payment processing, or AI-enabled features.
2.7. Sensitive Personal Information
PartnerFit does not intentionally request sensitive personal information to provide the Service. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the Service unless we specifically request it and provide an appropriate notice.
Sensitive personal information may include government-issued identifiers, financial-account credentials, precise geolocation, biometric information, health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, union membership, certain genetic information, neural data, and the contents of certain private communications.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
-
To create, authenticate, administer, secure, and maintain user accounts.
-
To provide, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
-
To analyze business and partnership information and generate potential partner matches, strategic-fit scores, company intelligence, recommendations, and other Service outputs.
-
To provide AI-enabled features, including suggestions regarding partnership needs and capabilities, company-intelligence summaries, strategic-fit analysis, and draft outreach or introduction content. PartnerFit’s AI-enabled features and strategic-fit scores are designed to support business research and decision-making. They are not used to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning an individual.
-
To display or facilitate access to relevant business-contact information and support introductions, communications, or collaboration among authorized Service users and organizations.
-
To understand how users interact with the Service, evaluate search and recommendation quality, develop new features, and improve Service performance and user experience.
-
To respond to inquiries, provide customer support, send account and service notices, and communicate about product updates, educational materials, events, and, where permitted by law, marketing communications.
-
To protect the security and integrity of our systems, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use, and enforce our agreements.
-
To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, and complete corporate transactions.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or adjusting your account settings. We may still send transactional and service-related communications, including authentication messages, billing notices, account notices, security alerts, and legal notices.
We may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information from personal information. Where permitted by law, we may use and disclose that information for lawful business purposes, including analytics, security, research, benchmarking, and product improvement.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers to help us operate, secure, and improve the Service. These providers may process personal information on our behalf to provide services to us, subject to contractual and other safeguards as appropriate to the services provided and applicable law.
-
Session Replay and Product Analytics. We use session-replay and product-analytics providers that capture information about interactions with the Service, such as pages viewed, clicks, navigation paths, performance data, and technical or error events. We use this information to investigate customer support requests, diagnose technical problems, and resolve bugs. Session replay is subject to the consent, masking, and withdrawal practices described in Sections 2.4 and 6.6.
-
Supabase. We use Supabase for authentication, including OTP email delivery, database hosting, and file storage. Data may be stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure and protected through access controls, including row-level security policies where applicable.
-
AI Services. We use artificial-intelligence service providers to support partner discovery, suggested needs and capabilities, company-intelligence summaries, strategic-fit scores, draft outreach content, and other AI-enabled features. Company, profile, search, interaction, and other relevant Service information may be processed by AI service providers to provide requested or enabled AI features. These requests are sent from our servers, not directly from your browser. We use contractual, technical, and organizational measures designed to limit the use of that information by our AI service providers to providing services to PartnerFit, except as otherwise disclosed to you or permitted by applicable law. We select and configure AI services so that information submitted by PartnerFit is not used to train general-purpose models, subject to the applicable service terms. AI service providers may retain requests and responses for a limited period for operational, security, safety, and abuse-monitoring purposes, as permitted by their applicable service terms and configurations.
-
Business Information and Data-Enrichment Providers. We may use providers that supply, verify, enrich, or help us maintain company, professional, business-contact, and other business-related information used in the Service.
-
Other Service Providers. We may use providers of cloud hosting, security, analytics, email delivery, customer support, payment processing, professional services, and related business functions.
AI-generated information, including recommendations, strategic-fit scores, company summaries, and draft outreach content, may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Users should independently review and verify AI-generated information before relying on it or using it in a business communication.
PartnerFit does not use customer confidential information or personal information submitted to the Service to train or fine-tune a general-purpose artificial-intelligence model for the benefit of unrelated third parties. PartnerFit does not use identifiable personal information submitted to the Service to train or fine-tune its own general-purpose AI models. PartnerFit may use information as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, support, evaluate, and improve the Service, including through aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified analyses, as permitted by applicable law and our agreements.
5. Data Sharing
PartnerFit does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable law. We disclose personal information only as described below or with your consent.
-
With Other Platform Users. To provide partner-discovery and collaboration features, we may make company profiles, partnership needs, capabilities, partner-program information, and certain business-contact information available to other authorized PartnerFit users. Individual user profile information may be available to authorized users within the same organization, depending on the organization’s account configuration and the features used.
-
With Service Providers. We disclose personal information to service providers as necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service. These providers may include authentication, hosting, storage, database, analytics, session-replay, security, AI, business-information, customer-support, email-delivery, marketing-email, payment-processing, and professional-service providers.
-
With Business Information Providers. We may disclose limited information to business-information, data-enrichment, and contact-data providers where necessary to obtain, verify, enrich, or maintain company and business-contact information used through the Service. We disclose only the information reasonably necessary for these purposes.
-
For Legal Compliance and Protection. We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request; protect the rights, property, safety, and security of PartnerFit, our users, or others; investigate suspected fraud, security incidents, or violations of our agreements; or enforce our rights.
-
Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of a material change in ownership or control affecting personal information.
-
No Sale, Sharing, or Targeted Advertising. PartnerFit does not knowingly sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not knowingly process personal information for targeted advertising across nonaffiliated websites or applications. If our practices change in a manner that constitutes a sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for targeted advertising under applicable law, we will provide any required notice and opt-out options.
6. Cookies, Local Storage & Tracking
PartnerFit uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to provide, secure, and improve the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6.1. Essential Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication, session management, security, fraud prevention, and other functions necessary for the Service to operate. For example, Supabase may use cookies to support user authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled through our systems.
6.2. Local Storage
We use browser local storage for functional purposes. For example, we may store a theme preference, such as light or dark mode, and your cookie-consent choice.
6.3. Analytics Identifier
We may generate and store a randomized analytics identifier in browser local storage or similar technology. We use this identifier to understand general usage patterns, measure Service performance, identify technical issues, and improve the user experience. The analytics identifier may be associated with other Service information when you are logged in or otherwise use the Service. We treat it as personal information to the extent required by applicable law.
6.4. IP Address & Approximate Geolocation
When you interact with the Service, we collect your IP address and may use it to determine your approximate geographic location, such as your country, region, or city. We use this information to operate and protect the Service, understand general usage patterns, improve performance across regions, detect fraud or abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues. We do not use IP-derived location information for precise-location tracking or cross-context behavioral advertising.
6.5. Service Worker
PartnerFit uses a service worker for progressive web-app (PWA) functionality, including offline caching, performance improvements, and update notifications. The service worker may cache application assets locally to improve performance and support installation as a standalone app. We do not design the service-worker cache to store personal information. However, cached application content may reflect the pages or features you access.
6.6. Your Choices
You may manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Deleting or disabling certain cookies or local-storage technologies may affect the availability or functionality of the Service. Where required by applicable law, we obtain consent before using non-essential cookies and similar technologies, including session replay. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting “Cookie Settings” in the footer of our website or on the Settings page of your account. If you withdraw consent, we stop non-essential session replay going forward; withdrawal does not affect processing completed before withdrawal. PartnerFit does not currently sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process personal information for targeted advertising. As a result, there is currently no such processing to which an opt-out preference signal, including Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), would apply. If our practices change, we will recognize and process qualifying opt-out preference signals as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, protect security, and maintain appropriate business records. The length of time we retain information depends on factors such as:
-
The type, sensitivity, and volume of the information.
-
The purposes for which we collected and use the information.
-
Whether we need the information to provide or maintain the Service or an account.
-
Applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements.
-
The need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page of your account after verifying your identity with a one-time code sent to your email address, or by contacting privacy@partnerfit.com. Account deletion immediately ends access to the Service. Any active paid subscription is canceled immediately. Charges already incurred and any applicable refund rights remain governed by the subscription terms. When your account is deleted, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable legal exceptions and legitimate business needs, such as billing records we are required to keep. Company information contributed by multiple authorized users may remain associated with the organization after an individual account is deleted. If you are the only user associated with your organization, the partnership needs, capabilities, and partner-program information entered for your organization are also deleted; publicly available company information and business-contact information may remain in the Service. We may retain aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information where permitted by law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have the right to:

EEA and UK Users
The following disclosures apply to the extent that the EU General Data Protection Regulation or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing of your personal information.
Partner Labs, LLC d/b/a PartnerFit generally acts as a controller when we determine the purposes and means of processing personal information, including when we operate and improve the Service and maintain business and professional information used for partner discovery. In some circumstances, we may process personal information on behalf of a customer, in which case the customer may act as the controller and PartnerFit may act as its processor.
